Driven by the Spirit

We are driven by that same Spirit that drove Jesus into the wilderness.  That Spirit, the Spirit of God the Father, drove Jesus into, but did not leave him alone. We are driven, but also not left alone. We are driven by the Spirit who stays with us to be fruitful leaven within the world and to manifest God's Kingdom, through living the joy of the Gospel in our homes, workplaces, parishes anywhere and everywhere where we find ourselves.  When we are driven by the Spirit, not by the world, we become light that bathes our neighbor and gives glory to God. Let us continue through Lent as children anxiously ready to return home to the embraced of our Father as we continue to look towards the glory and joy of Easter.
