God is love.

Self-gift that does not ebb and flow,

but is constant and pure,

as It pours out upon us, individually but not separately.

We by our very human nature ebb and flow,

our love is fickle and clouded.

Still, God pours out His love out upon us.

God is love,

made visible in Jesus Christ, Our Good Shepherd,

who laid down His life for ours and who's cross is our salvation,

and His resurrection our hope.

God is love, made present in the Holy Spirit,

and in His Church, the Bride of the Son.

The Church, that was, and is, and will be,

 receives all, endures all, embraces all, and passes on all.

The Church is the action of the Holy Spirit, in us and through us,

nudging and guiding the heart towards the Good Shepherd,

whose voice we recognize.

God is love,
