God as light.

I ran across an article about the Basilica De La SagradaFamilia.  The expiatory church of La Sagrada Família is a work on a grand scale which was begun in 1882 and will not be completed until 2026! Begun by Francisco de Paula del Villar (1828-1901). In 1883 Antoni Gaudí was commissioned to carry on the works, a task which he did not abandon until his death in 1926.  It is as amazing as one might image. I have never been to Barcelona and so have never seen the church.   It worth a moment to visit online and to remember the great cathedrals of the past and how they tried to capture in light, God who is light.
